Prince Harry and Meghan ‘plan to stay at Frogmore Cottage when they visit the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to return to Frogmore Cottage when they visit the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in June, according to reports.
The Grade II listed property, on the Frogmore Estate in Windsor, is currently occupied by Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their son August.
However, it was reported in February that the Duke of Sussex had renewed his lease on the chalet, despite living in a sprawling £11million mansion in Los Angeles.
The royal couple now plan to return to Frogmore Cottage when they travel to the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee next month, according to the scottish sun.
It is understood that heightened security measures are already in place in anticipation of the arrival of Harry and Meghan with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Princess Eugenie is likely to open the guest rooms at Frogmore Cottage to accommodate the family of four when they visit.
It was recently confirmed that the Sussexes will be attending the Queen’s four-day Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but it is still unclear which events they will attend.
However, non-working members of the Royal Family will not appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for Trooping the Color on June 2.
This excludes Harry and Meghan – and many of the Queen’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Sussex spokeswoman said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted and honored to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June with their children.”
It was reported in February that Prince Harry had renewed his lease on Frogmore Cottage and would continue to deputize for the Queen, despite living abroad.
The Duke of Sussex is eligible to continue serving his grandmother as one of her four councilors of state, as he is considered domiciled in Britain due to his former address in Windsor.
He and the Duchess of Sussex have decided to renew the lease on the cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle, which is due to expire on March 31, according to The Telegraph.

The Sussexes have paid off the £2.4million worth of renovations to the Windsor home, including rent until March 2022.
Details of Harry’s living arrangements in the UK have become a constitutional issue due to his role as one of the Queen’s four councilors of state.
As the four adults closest to the throne, the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge, Duke of Sussex and Duke of York can take over some of the Queen’s duties if she is temporarily indisposed.
