Wednesday is a day to save money on one of the most popular foods.
February 9 is National Pizza Day and businesses across the country are celebrating with discounted pizzas and other specials.
With the Super Bowl on Sunday, there will be more pizza deals this weekend, and you may also find heart-shaped pizza before Valentine’s Day.
Until 2020, National Bagel Day was also held on February 9, but Hole Day was moved to mid-January last year to avoid sharing the limelight with pizza.
According to Google Maps data shared with USA TODAY, for the second year, Domino’s Pizza remains the most searched pizza place in the United States.

Yelp is looking for Chef Pizzaiolo
Yelp is “hiring” its first “Chief Pizza Officer” who, during his six-month job, “will be responsible for spreading their love for pizza and sharing the latest pizza trends with the Yelp community.”
The role will pay $25,000. Applications are accepted Wednesday through February 28 and when applying, you will be required to submit a 30-60 second video explaining why you are qualified for the position.

Domino’s Pizza Day deal: $3 coupon for takeout orders
For a limited time, Domino’s will give you $3 to order your pizza online and pick it up yourself instead of choosing delivery.
Place a takeout order through May 22 and get a $3 coupon code to redeem the following week on a takeout order of $5 or more before tax and tip.
Also earn points to redeem for a free pizza with the chain’s Piece of the Pie rewards program which you can sign up for at Dominos.com.

Papa Johns’ Pizza Day deals: How to win free pizza for a year and more
Papa Johns has some specials for National Pizza Day. The chain’s new NY Style pizza is available for $13 for a single-topping pizza through March 13.
Additionally, a heart-shaped pizza is available for $11.99 at participating locations nationwide through Monday. The pizza is uncut “because we don’t want to break your heart,” the channel said.
And until February 16, Papa John’s is running a contest on Twitter and Instagram with a free pizza for a year up for grabs. To enter, share your “pizza style on Twitter or Instagram with #whatsyourstyle #sweepstakes”. Learn more about the competition here.
Pizza Hut Pizza Day Deals, Spicy Pizza
Pizza Hut’s three new Spicy Lover’s pizzas – Spicy Double Pepperoni, Spicy Hawaiian Chicken and Spicy Veggie – are available now for a limited time at participating Pizza Hut locations for delivery, curbside pickup and takeout.
The chain also has several offers posted on its website, including a $10 Tastemaster, heart-shaped pizza, and other packages.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza Day Deals
Hungry Howie’s is highlighting its Mix & Match menu for Pizza Day. Choose two items from the Mix & Match menu for $6.99 each. There’s also the $17.99 Howie Deal which includes two medium one-topping pizzas and a two-liter Pepsi.
Whole Foods Pizza Day $10 Deal
From Wednesday through February 15, Whole Foods Market is offering an 18-inch hot cheese pizza for $10, and Prime members can get an additional 10% off.
Super Bowl DiGiorno Free Pizza Contest
A free pizza is up for grabs with DiGiorno’s Super Bowl promotion. Sign up at Play.keeplifedelicious.com/digornopiscore until Sunday and if at any point in the game the score is 3-14 or 14-3, 1,500 winners will be randomly selected to win a free pizza coupon.
