The young royal’s passion for sport was ignited by her grandfather, Prince Philip. The Duke of Edinburgh bequeathed his most recent car to his granddaughter in his will. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Lady Louise can be seen driving the carriage, accompanied by an assistant.

She was dressed in a navy blue polo shirt and beige pants and also wore a hard hat.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, accompanied her daughter, driving her own much smaller car.

Prince Philip commissioned and designed his carriage eight years ago, which can accommodate four people and harness up to eight horses.

Lady Louise often participates in various competitions, as she seeks to hone her skills.

Last year she got third place at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which this year takes place in early July.

She received a lot of praise for her carriage riding skills from her mother.

In a virtual interview last May at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Countess of Wessex said: “She is naturally so good at it, she really is.
