Kanye West shares personal address of rival Drake on Instagram
Kanye West and Drake’s feud doesn’t seem to end anytime soon.
The 44-year-old star posted a photo to Instagram on Sunday, which he later deleted, from a map detailing the supposed location of Drake’s home in Toronto, after Drake’s recent hit on him during a collaboration with Trippie Redd, in which he apparently referred to West as “burnt out.”
Drake, 34, didn’t seem upset by West’s antics on social media, as he shared a photo of himself driving through Toronto on Sunday night while laughing under the driver’s seat.
The latest: Kanye West, 44, posted a photo on Instagram on Sunday, which he later deleted, from a map detailing the location of Drake’s home in Toronto, but Drake, 34, laughed at it in an article on Instagram Stories
On Saturday, West posted a photo from a group chat on his Instagram account in which he said he was “fucked with a ** n *** nerd like my whole life.”
The post came shortly after rapper Redd released the track from the Betrayal album on Friday, which features a Drake diss that many listeners thought was going after Kanye.
In his guest verse on the song, Drake appeared to call Kanye by name and accuse him of being “exhausted.”
“All these fools, I’m tough that I barely know / 45, 44 (Exhausted), drop it / You don’t change anything for me, it’s set in stone,” he rapped, via Genie.
In the wake: The rapper smiled as he walked through his native Toronto in a clip on social media
The “Ye” in his verse is ambiguous and could be “they”, but it certainly sounds more like Kanye’s nickname on the track.
Kanye is also 44, which increases the likelihood that he will be the “exhausted” target of Drake’s criticism.
It’s unclear why Drake brought up Kanye at this time, although some have speculated that his continually delayed album Donda may come ever closer to the release of Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album.
According to Variety, some insiders and industry fans believe that West’s rebuffed album may be trying to ruin Drake’s sales.
Drake appeared to refer to “Ye” on Betrayal and called someone who is “exhausted” and “45” or “44”. Kanye is 44 years old
Fighting Words: Kanye wrote “I live for this” with a picture of Joaquin Phoenix as Joker, while shouting “nerd a ** jock n *** as”. A “D” on the focus group may have represented Drake, and it added Drake’s nemesis, Pusha T, to the conversation.
However, Kanye clearly continues to work on Donda, as his second album is a significantly reworked version of the material.
While his Instagram follow-up post didn’t specifically mention Drake, the time has come after the eventual diss suggests it could be a post for him.
In the screenshot, Kanye had a group text message in progress with an earlier message partially cut off. Underneath, he posted a grim still image of Joaquin Phoenix wearing Joker makeup in the hit movie of the same name. Although the names of the chat participants were not listed, their initials were displayed at the top of the screen, including a capital D, which could be Drake.
Kanye also added his friend Pusha T to the conversation just before sending his picture of Joker, which increased the chances of it being directed to rapper In My Feelings.
Drake and Pusha threw worms at each other for at least a decade, but their beef boiled over in 2018, when Pusha hinted at rumors that Drake’s worms are mostly ghosts written on Infrared, the closing track from his acclaimed album Daytona, which was uniquely produced by Kanye.
Drake responded with the May single of that year Duppy Freestyle, in which he referred to Kanye helping write some of the songs from his LP The Life Of Pablo as proof of his writing skills.
Significant: Pusha’s presence was significant and suggested that Kanye was calling Drake. Pusha publicly called out Drake for “hiding a child” in his 2018 diss piece The Story of Adidon; seen in 2019
A few days later, Pusha released her response single The Story Of Adidon. In the scathing piece, he accused Drake of being a “deadbeat” father and accused him of “hiding a child”.
The child in question was the son of hitman Adonis, whom he had not recognized before and would not talk about until the release of his album Scorpion in June 2018.
Adidon’s story also featured a single piece of art with a 2007 photo of Drake with a black face, although he later defended the image as a critique of racist portrayals of black people.
Kanye’s own feud with Drake appeared to begin during his ill-fated tour for his album The Life Of Pablo, when he exposed the rapper and actor on stage.
Heading South: Drake and Kanye’s feud began as early as 2016, but escalated in 2018 when Drake came to believe that Kanye was the one who had spoken to Pusha T about his son Adonis; seen with Kenny Burns (center) in 2015 in Atlanta
Slowdown: Their beef peaked with furious tweets in December 2018, but since then they seemed to be calming down; Kanye seen on July 22 in Atlanta
In July 2018, Malik Yusef declared Rolling stone in an interview that Kanye heard Drake’s song on March 14, in which he admitted to having a young son, before recording The Story Of Adidon.
The timeline suggested that he knew his old friend’s child and may have shared the information with Pusha for use on his own diss track.
But in August 2018, Kanye denied leaking the information in an interview with Chicago radio station. WGCI.
‘I’m’ Ye ‘. I have important things to do other than give him information about Drake, ”he said. ‘Honestly, I don’t care a lot, in all honesty.’
But in December 2018, the two were on Twitter again about a dispute over Drake’s request to sample one of Kanye’s old songs.
“There would never be a drake without Kanye West, so never put your mouth out with a threat,” Kanye tweeted.
Since then, the two have cooled their conflict until this latest explosion.
