Historic MC displays, legends, bench races and private screening of the digitally remastered 50th anniversary edition of Any Sunday

Menifee, Calif. (August 28, 2021) – Baja / Desert / Rally, AMA / Offroad Motorsports / Trailblazer Hall of Famers champions Johnny Campbell and Scot Harden have come together to host ‘Handstands at 100mph’, a special event celebrating legacy and the legacy of the Baja / Desert motorcycle racing fraternity.

Based out of the Doffo Winery in Temecula, Ca, this special event will bring together the largest gathering of Baja / Desert motorcycle legends and champions ever and will include historic motorcycle exhibits, autograph sessions, food, drinks and will end with a private screening of the 50th anniversary screening of Any Sunday. Additionally, an optional two-sport ride will be organized prior to the event for those who wish to share a ride together prior to the event. The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2021.

“Johnny and I have been talking about doing something special for the Baja / Desert Racing motorcycling community for quite some time,” said Scot Harden. “We want to honor the legacy and legacy of the sport we love so much, bring our friends and colleagues together and hopefully inspire the next generation of runners to pursue their own dreams and adventures through this type of running. We already have a long list of former champions and legends committed to attending the event, as well as some of the bikes that have marked historic events like the Baja 1000, BITD and other big off-road events. We felt the time was right.

“Running has given each of us so much over the years,” said Johnny Campbell. “Not only our lives, but the lives of so many others have been devoted to this sport. We are specifically targeting SCORE / BITD / NORRA / HDRA, D-37, D-38, MRAN, ADRA runners and the clubs that have supported them over the years, their friends and families. We invite them all to come join us for an afternoon of bench racing, camaraderie and good times. We have the awesome Doffo Winery to ourselves, some really cool motorcycles, and will end the day with a private tour of the remastered Any Sunday. “

The “Handstands at 100pmph” activities start at 4 pm and continue until 9 pm. Autograph sessions, interviews and commentary on Baja / Desert races will take place during the day. An optional 90 mile dual sport ride will be organized for those who want to ride first, also based at Doffo Winery. The bisport hike will be guided by GPS and led by Johnny and Scot. It starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Part of the registration fee will go to the Kurt Caselli Foundation.

$ 49 per ticket (includes Baja taco plate, drink coupon, Any Sunday private screening and $ 10 donation to the Kurt Caselli Foundation)

Bisport walk / reception / party / autograph signing and optional film:
$ 85 per runner (limited to 75 runners: includes GP itinerary, Baja taco plate, drink voucher, Any Sunday Private screening and donation of $ 10 to the Kurt Caselli Foundation)
