Mother of four Sharen Pound, 33, used a family xBox account to log into the streaming service Adele McGillivray used in an attempt to “embarrass and humiliate her” in front of her lover.

“It made me suspect it was Sharen because of the names the profiles were changed to. I just want it to stop and leave me alone. I feel like she’s just jealous of my relationship. I feel like I was targeted because of it.

Stockport magistrates heard the feud erupted in April this year after Pound, de Chapel en le Frith, broke up with his unnamed partner and began dating Miss McGillivray.

He was barred from contacting Mis McGillivray under a 12-month restraining order. She was also fined £ 80 and £ 119 in costs and surcharges.

Her lawyer Anthony Derbyshire said in mitigation: “She is embarrassed to be here today. Her biggest loss is her good character.

She had no previous convictions. We are dealing with actions that took place in one day.

They did not unfold over an extended period of time and there is no claim that she behaved inappropriately in the meantime. She is not seeking to oppose a restraining order.

The court heard that Pound was receiving £ 1,400 in universal credit and £ 240 in family allowance while her husband paid off his mortgage in full.
