Gingerbread Haven
Midland Fair Havens Presents It 10e annual Gingerbread Haven event Tuesday at the Horseshoe in Midland.
Over 2000 guests will be in attendance, decorating large gingerbread houses with 2 tons of candy. This is a colorful and fun event that supports Midland Fair Havens, a transitional shelter for women and children, determined to become independent and self-sufficient.

MCSO organizes “Horseshoe Christmas”
The Midland County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with local nonprofit organizations to host a ‘Horseshoe Christmas’.
The free event is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. on December 18. A production will take place at 7 p.m. It will feature a Santa Claus, a live nativity scene, and arts and crafts activities. Inner Court and JK Dance Studio will perform their Christmas music production live.
“MCSO’s hope is that when the kids come out home, they’ll each leave with a gift,” according to a press release from Midland County. “Please help us by asking our community to drop off an unpacked toy at all of the addresses listed. “
Anyone wishing to donate unwrapped toys for the occasion can drop them off at the designated places. Toy barrels can be found at:
