2021 Lincoln County Fair is approaching | New

The 2021 Lincoln Show is fast approaching, are you ready for it? This year, this Lincoln County Fair will be held September 18-25, with each night filled with fun events.

On Friday September 17th there will be an evening of family fun and the 20th annual barbecue for young people and adults. Cooking will start at 12 noon. There will be free entry, free parking and free activities for children, such as pedal tractor races and a horn hole tournament, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in front of the stands. There will also be an adult cornhole tournament with an entry fee of $ 30 per team.

On Saturday September 18, several events will be planned. At 11:00 a.m., nominations for the 20th Annual BBQ will be judged. At 4 p.m., the Jr Meat Goat Show will begin. At 7 p.m. on the Jack Daniel’s stage, Eric Michael Taylor and the Broken Strings will open for ACM New Male Artist of the Year winner Jimmie Allen in 2021, who will begin performing at 8 p.m. There will also be armbands from 1 p.m. to closing. General admission at the gate on September 18 is $ 22 per person, regardless of age. This will include admission to the fari, the Jimmie Allen concert and the armband for the rides. Subscriptions and day passes will not be valid on that day.

On Sunday, September 19, there will be a dairy goat show for the 4-H and FFA Open at 9 a.m. The fun show of Tennessee Miniature Horse Volunteers will be held at the Cattle Barn Arena. Registration will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the event will take place at 2 p.m. The Miniature Horse Show will take place prior to the Quarter Horse Races and the Miniature Horse Sulky Races will be held during the Quarter Horse Races. Registration for the stick horse races will begin at 1:00 p.m. outside the fairground store and the event will take place at 1:30 p.m. The quarter horse, pony and mule races will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be followed by show of mules and draft horses. There will also be armbands on September 19. Armbands will be offered for $ 20 which will cover trips from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. or for $ 25 from 1 p.m. to closing. General admission at the gate will be $ 8 all day. Children 5 and under will receive free entry as well as serving military personnel, veterans, first responders and law enforcement who provide identification.

On Monday, September 20, the Black Angus demonstration class and shows and the market pig and pig show will take place at 5 p.m. The “Junior Miss Pageant” for 11-13 year olds will take place at 7 pm at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage. The “Miss Teen Pageant” for 14-16 year olds will immediately follow the “Junior Miss Pageant” and the “Fairest of the Fair Pageant” for 17-20 year olds will immediately follow the “Miss Teen Pageant”. The “Tiny Miss Pageant” for ages 2 to 4 will take place at 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville Lumber stage. The “Little Miss Pageant” for 5-7 year olds will take place immediately after the “Tiny Miss Pageant” and the “Young Miss Pageant” for 8-10 year olds will take place immediately after the “Little Miss Pageant”. Harness races will start at 7 p.m. in front of the stands. September 21 will also be “Senior Day” and “Century Farms Recognition Day”. The 2021 Lincoln County Fair will also have a shuttle service that will operate daily for families with young children, the elderly, and those with disabilities or in wheelchairs.
